Ask the Expert
Free Web Seminar for Caregivers, Thursday, April 10th
This month in our Ask the Expert Column, we thought we'd take a moment to highlight an opportunity for those caregivers caring for someone with Medicare coverage to receive expert advice on how best to navigate the (often complex!) Medicare system. The free seminar is offered by the Medicare Rights Center. And best of all, you can participate online without leaving the comfort of your home or office! The web seminar is offered on Thursday, April 10th, 2008, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time (10:00 AM in California).
Many adult children, spouses and friends care for loved ones with Medicare. But often caregivers are unaware of the Medicare-covered services available to assist their loved ones, or don?t know the best way to navigate a sometimes complicated health insurance system.
The free seminar will answer some key questions:
- How do you get care for your loved one with Medicare?
- What services will Medicare cover for your loved one?
- Where can you get coverage for services Medicare does not cover?
- What rights does a caregiver have?
- How can caregivers take care of themselves?
Space for this event is limited. Register online at www.medicarerights.org/webinars.html to reserve your spot. If you are unable to attend, a recording of the presentation will be posted the following day.
